Angle A
The creation of Angle Å emerged from a commitment to local production and the use of natural, non-toxic, and biodegradable materials. This carefully crafted lamp is designed to foster a meaningful connection between consumer and object, embodying sustainability and thoughtful design. The lamp’s base and lightbulb are 3D-printed with PLA, a renewable bioplastic, while its wooden middle section is shaped by hand from locally sourced scrap wood, bonded with fish glue, and finished with wood wax. Every detail is crafted with intention, emphasizing durability and ecological responsibility.
Assembling the lamp is intuitive, involving just a few screws and thoughtful wire management. The design allows for full disassembly, ensuring that every part can be repaired, recycled, or replaced, further extending its lifecycle. Its interactive features, such as adjustable brightness and the ability to add or remove the top lightbulb, invite personalization and adaptability.
Angle Å is not just a lamp—it’s a lifelong companion. When wear or damage occurs, repair services are offered to restore its functionality, ensuring its longevity. With proper care, this lamp transcends fleeting trends, becoming a timeless addition to any space and a testament to sustainable, locally minded craftsmanship.
